What a wonderful idea! I love it.. Just this past week Joann's had their Home Decor fabric swatches that they use for special orders on sale for $1.00 per swatch. I bought a few just because I loved the colors. These would be perfect for the E-Reader pattern. I don't have my mother anymore but I always give my daughters gifts for Mother's Day, because without them I would not be a mother. This would be a perfect gift for them both! Thanks so much for sharing your pattern!
When I saw the thumb nail of your photo it looked like you were hugging a statue. I've heard about these for years, and have never gotten around to doing it. I do have a fashion mannequin which is helpful for hemming and so forth, not so much for fitting because I am no where near Miss Manne Q's Barbie doll like measurements.
Sorry about that. Try this link. Just copy it and put it in your browser address bar. It should take you directly to the pattern. If you have any more problems post here or send an email at sewnews@sewnews.com.
Love the top and so excited about the free pattern. Another project that will be added to my never ending list of sewing projects. Looks so comfortable and any top that can be made with less that one yard of fabric is great. I will definitely add your blog to the many that I read weekly.
That would be great! I too have two daughters and I made this one for my older daughter's Kindle :)
Yes, I think it is because in the picture on 54 her shoulder is more downward because of her pose.
