I am working on some gifts for a few people, as well as some stuffed bunnies for my grandkids for Easter and maybe one for my daughter since she "mentioned" that you can never be too old for stuffed animals.

Love the peplum on this shirt.  How cute. Just goes to show that everything old is new again!

I visit Sewing District every day, checking for new posts, response to posts or any new blogs.  This site has the potential to be a great sewing resource site.  Wish I had some exciting ideas to build on this site but alas I am certainly not a marketing genius.  So I will continue to watch, reply and wait.  Every site starts small but with help from others that are members it can certainly grow. If I can be of any help please dont hesitate to ask, not sure what I can do but always willing to lend a hand.

I see that Sew News has 4 sewing projects for me to enjoy.  HOWEVER, it is extremely difficult to locate the actual pattern on this site, and THEN there are no directions.  I notice that the original directions were included in a 2010 publication, but since I recently subscribed to Sew News, I do not have that publication.  Does this mean that I must somehow find a 2010 edition, or do I have to purchase it?  Your current publication suggests that I could sew these right now.  I do need the directions.

Awesome!  I was online over the weekend and I was looking for some bastite, or Liberty type fabric.  Put a bunch in my 'cart'.  But, haven't made a commitment yet.

I've used fabricmart.com I have been a customer with them for many years long before online shopping became available.  I've only been disappointed once with them I usually get great service.  My most favorite place to shop is in Berlin Market Sam's Fabrics it's such a great place that I chose to go there instead of online most times.

Ha ha!  It's coming!  I need to put on the peplum.  But, I'm disappointed.  The muslin came out great, and now the final is really much more loose fitting in the bodice and I used a linen fabric.  So, not sure what the heck happened there.  Is linen that much more of a loose weave?  Arrgh.

So where's the blouse pattern?  Hmmm?  Don't see no pics.  Hmmm?

Thanks for that KS!
