Sewing Project Ideas

I'm looking for fun new sewing projects to start. Does anyone out there have any good ideas or projects that they have thought were fun?

yES. chrochet a door hanger, about 4 in wide, 6 long w/ a 2-3 in long pocket 4 keys.

Not a bad idea. I'm always losing my keys, but if I put them in the same place everytime I came in the house I wouldn't have that problem anymore. Brilliant.

I always enjoy making tote bags, they are really easy and fun to make. Have you thought about making some cloth bags to take to the grocery store with you? Make several out of cute fabrics and you'll be stylish and eco conscious! This is my first post & reply here.

I am looking forward to making a tote bag too. i just started a sewing class today and that will be our first project. I will post pictures of it when it is completed.

Also, You could always make hats and blankets for shelters. I have heard of an organization that sends baby hats that people make to poor countries because many babies die of sickness from cold shortly after birth. Sorry, but i cant remember the name of the organization.
