Designer Pattern Trials - top and skirt
This was my first Rachel Comey sewing pattern trial. When I first laid eyes on this in Vogue Patterns I loved it. I thought it could be a handy top for everyday use. But it was quite loose fitting. I had to make tons of alterations on it.
As for the skirt, this has been one of my favorite patterns so far. It is so easy to sew and very comfy to wear. But I think you can apply the clever detail of inseam pockets in this skirt to many skirt patterns.
